IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS NOT ANSWERED BELOW,
PLEASE REACH OUT TO MADS AND HOFF

WHEN ARE THE RSVP’s DUE?

If you could please submit your RSVP by Sunday, July 21st, it would be greatly appreciated!

when should we travel?

This is completely up to you. Our blocks at both hotels are for Friday (Sept 13th) and Saturday (Sept 14th). HOWEVER, you can book an additional 3 days before and/or 3 days after and still receive the same rate (based on the hotel’s availability). So you can come for the wedding only, or make a vacation of it. There is an informal welcome party on Friday night and Goodbye Brunch on Sunday that everyone is invited to.

What’s the weather like in texas?

It’s going to be warm, very possibly hot. Mads pulled the weather data from the past seven years for September in Austin and in a giant nutshell, the weather is fickle. Be sure to check the weather before you come!

What you can hopefully expect: high of 92 degrees, low of 70 degrees, slight chance of rain

What to pack? Other than what you’ll wear to the wedding, pack a swimsuit or two, casual clothes, sunscreen and maybe a rain jacket. The Sunday Brunch attire is very casual. You can wear your PJ’s if you want.

HOW DO I GET AROUND AUSTIN? and to/from the wedding?

Luckily, you don’t need a car to travel around Austin - but if you would like to rent one, go for it!
Ride Shares:
Uber and Lyft service the greater Austin area and are plentiful
Public Transportation: The Austin MetroRail travels from Downtown up through North Austin. It’s great to use if you’re going between Downtown and East Austin.
Bikes & Scooters: also a great way to get around between Downtown, the East Side and SoCo (South Congress). You can also control them from a Mobile App: Austin bCycle, Bird, Lime
To and From the Wedding:
Shuttles will be running to/from The LINE Hotel for the wedding (see the “SEPT THE 14TH” tab for more info). Parking at the venue is plentiful, if you’d prefer to drive, you are more than welcome to. If you’d prefer to leave the wedding before the shuttles depart… or if you miss the shuttle that’s taking everyone to the wedding, Uber & Lyft are at your service.

CAN I BRING MY DOG?

Hell yes! Our wedding venue is dog friendly, all we ask is if you bring your pup, please clean up after him/her. Both hotels (The LINE and The ALoft) we have room blocks at are pet friendly. Their pet policies are a bit different, so please review them before booking.
**The LINE Pet Policy
**The ALoft Pet Policy

We love your little humans, we do! But given the location and hours of the wedding, we’re asking only their parents attend. We want this to be your night off! (The only exceptions being made are for the flower girl and ring bearer.) Your kids are more than welcome to attend the Adios Brunch! If you’d like to make your trip to Austin a family affair, Mads & Hoff can put you in touch with some stellar baby sitters for the eve of the wedding.

ARE THE CHILDREN INVITED?

Ohhh La La! We are truly trying keep our guest list on track are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Please feel free to e-mail us with any questions!

CAN I BRING A DATE?

WTF DOES “CREATIVE COCKTAIL (COSTUMES ENCOURAGED)” MEAN?

MADS - WTF DOES “CREATIVE COCKTAIL (COSTUMES ENCOURAGED)” MEAN AND WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO WEAR TO THIS WEDDING? Well beautiful friends and family…

First thing’s first: regular “Cocktail Attire” is perfectly fine!
LADIES - PLEASE NOTE THAT WEATHER PERMITTING, WE WILL GET MARRIED ON GRASS, followed by dinner and dancing inside on solid ground. For some, wedges or flats might be the best bet.

Now… if you want to have fun with it: GO NUTS! EXAMPLES BELOW
All I ask, please keep it semi-classy… meaning, please don’t wear a costume you’d find at the Hustler store.
- Want to get a lil celestial given the full moon? GO FOR IT
- Want to wear an inflatable dinosaur costume? YAASSSS
- Couples costumes? YES PLEASE
- Need some inspiration? Just google: Bjork, Karen O, Janis Joplin, Elton John, Freddie Mercury, Jimi Hendrix, any Wes Anderson movie
- Still in a slump? My favorite store in Austin, Lucy in Disguise, is on South Congress and allows you to rent costumes at very reasonable prices in all shapes and sizes. Feel free to rent your outfit morning of the wedding :)
